H.S.V. High-Tech-Hitters (HTH) is the baseball and softball association on the campus of the University of Twente. We have our own field located on campus. HTH has both a competition team, which participates in the Dutch amateur baseball league, and a recreational team that focuses on enjoyment of baseball and softball, good vibes and gezelligheid.

During the season, which runs from April to October, both the competition and recreational team practice outside on the field twice a week. The competition team also plays its games against teams from the region, which take place on Sundays. During winter, we train inside at BASE, an indoor batting cage in the centre of Enschede to prepare for the upcoming season. We also use the sports halls provided by the sports centre of the University of Twente. After practice, other particular abilities will be trained at the bar in the sports centre.

Furthermore, a few baseball tournaments are also organized throughout the country during the season. We try to participate in as many of these as possible, because they are a lot of fun. The tournaments are not just a weekend with baseball and other fun activities, but also a good team-building opportunity.
